It is a company in Miami, Florida that concentrates mostly on making short films and music videos, but will also record bands play at concerts, special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, etc.
Mind Blown Films will also record someone who wants their talents on video, musicians, artists, dancers, writers, etc. Also, if you are a writer, Mind Blown Films is able to use video, to visually describe what you have written.
The current members of Mind Blown Films are Andrew Freedman as the director and editor, Sarah Moreno as the co-writer, production assistant, and production coordinator, Karen Moran as the photographer, Elvis Hatcher as the sound engineer, and Vitor Viana as the cinematographer and graphic artist.
Over winter break Mind Blown Films worked on music video for local music group Page One. It’s loaded with special effects and was filmed with the Canon T3I so it has beautiful HD footage.
Mind Blown Films continues to make football reels for the local community. This year we will do about 18, If you combine that with the numbers from last year we get a total of about 30. Last year, we found out at least 5 of the players were drafted by University teams.
Over winter break Andrew Freedman worked on a music video for the new band Witherberry. A group lead by Thadeus Duval, a man who will not hesitate to express himself, even if it offends someone
Andrew was asked to edit together a video to recognize local rock legend Mr. Clark Douglas Burris. The creator of the nationally renowned Miami Beach Senior High School Rock Ensemble, a man who has spent the last 30 years teaching music and continuing rock ensemble while suffering from MS.
Local Miami artist Marlon Pruess has made an amazing piece of art for Mind Blown Films. Like the rest of his art, it has a very slimy, urban feel to it.
Over the summer while you all were having a relaxing vacation, Andrew Freedman was working at the Miami Light Project: Filmmaker’s Bootcamp where he taught children and young adults filmmaking.
Mind Blown Films now has the newest, up and coming technology in advertisement, QR Codes. Although QR Codes have been used since 1994 in Japan, they are just now becoming popular in the U.S. so we are proud to take advantage of this new resource with the two QR Codes below. Director Andrew Freedman won Best Comedy Award last night at the Romance in a Can Film Festival for the film “How to Get The Hunnies”. This satire of Andrew and his ways to seduce was written and directed by Alu Soto, edited/played by Andrew Freedman and co-edited by Vitor Viana. Freedman and Viana both were hilarious in their role on camera.
